Individual patterns for personal hobby use are available through our Etsy shop.

If you only want to make leathercraft projects for personal use, you can purchase individual patterns from our Etsy shop.

Etsy patterns are for personal use only. Products made from these patterns cannot be sold, and the patterns cannot be used for paid classes or workshops.

Download these from the licensed Pattern Detail page. The shared Commercial Guide is available separately from My Page; it is not a separate guide for each pattern.

Yes, for patterns covered by your active Commercial License. Sign in and open the licensed Pattern Detail page from the Pattern Library to download your Personalized Pattern PDF and Promotional Pack.

For free Starter Kits, go to My Page → Your 3 Starter Kits Are Ready → View Starter Kit. For paid patterns already licensed to your account, go to My Page → My Licensed Patterns → Pattern Detail.

For a BASIC or STANDARD pattern you have not licensed yet, open its eligible Pattern Detail page and confirm one selection before downloading. Browsing the library does not give you download access to patterns outside your license.

A Commercial License allows you to use Pattern Factory Wind patterns for commercial activities such as selling handmade products and running classes or workshops.

Purchasing a Commercial License does not transfer ownership or copyright of the original patterns.

You need a Commercial License when using PFW patterns for commercial activities, including:

• Selling handmade products
• Selling through online or offline marketplaces
• Paid classes
• Studio classes
• Workshops
• Other commercial or business activities

Yes. Every Commercial License tier, including the free STARTER license, lets you sell handmade finished products made from your licensed patterns.

Mass production and factory manufacturing are not permitted. The Pattern PDFs, SVGs, and other digital source files themselves may not be resold, shared, or redistributed.

Yes. All Commercial License tiers, including STARTER, allow you to use your licensed patterns in paid in-person classes and workshops.

You may use licensed patterns and provided promotional materials to prepare and promote your classes. This does not permit sharing or redistributing original digital Pattern PDFs, SVGs, or other source files.

Yes. A pattern included in your Commercial License may be used for both handmade product sales and permitted in-person classes or workshops.

No. Your Commercial License gives you the right to use the patterns, but it does not give you the right to distribute the original digital files.

Original PDF and SVG files may not be shared, resold, uploaded, or distributed to students, customers, other instructors, studios, or businesses.

Yes. You may make size adjustments when necessary for the actual product or materials used in your project.

However, the original or adjusted pattern itself may not be sold, shared, or redistributed as a pattern product.

Editable original Illustrator files are not provided.

First, check that the pattern was printed at the correct scale. Use the Test Page included in the Print & Pattern Guide, select Actual Size when printing, and confirm the 5 cm / 2 inch test square with a ruler.

Even when the pattern is printed correctly, the finished size may vary depending on the type and thickness of leather and the construction method.

Pattern Factory Wind samples are generally made using approximately 1.8 mm firm vegetable-tanned leather.

For patterns designed to fit items such as bottles or electronic devices, actual dimensions may also vary between manufacturers, products, and countries. Please check the actual item before production and adjust the pattern size when necessary.

Use the Test Page included in the Print & Pattern Guide before printing the full pattern.

Select the appropriate paper size, choose Actual Size in your printer settings, and confirm that the 5 cm / 2 inch test square measures correctly with a ruler before printing the remaining pages.

Yes. You may print the patterns as many times as reasonably necessary for production and classes operated under your Commercial License.

However, printed patterns may not be distributed to another person, studio, or business for their independent commercial use.

Each pattern detail page in the Pattern Library includes a YouTube tutorial link for that specific pattern.

Every licensed pattern includes the same Promotional Pack across all license tiers: 5 Promotional Images and 1 Showcase Video.

You may use these materials for product listings, online shops, social media, class or workshop promotion, and sample or reference presentations.

Download the pack from the licensed Pattern Detail page. Pattern PDFs, SVGs, and other digital source files may not be resold, shared, or redistributed.

Choose a license plan and submit your license request, then continue to PayPal. Approve payment on PayPal and return to your purchase screen to complete the approved payment. Payment alone does not activate your license.

After completed payment is verified and an administrator approves your purchase, BASIC provides 5 pattern selections and STANDARD provides 30. Open an eligible Pattern Detail page, choose License This Pattern, review the selection summary and confirm one selection. The pattern is then added to your licensed patterns and its personalized PDF becomes available to download.

PRO and MASTER include the full Commercial Pattern Library, so individual pattern selection is not required.

Use My Page to review your licenses, remaining selections and licensed patterns. Open a licensed Pattern Detail page to download your Personalized Pattern PDF and Promotional Pack. Download the shared Commercial Guide from My Page.

Emails may notify you when access is ready and direct you to My Page; files are not sent as email attachments.

Your first PRO or MASTER purchase includes 12 months of new pattern releases. After that, Update Access can be renewed for $50/year.

Renewal affects access to new releases only. If you do not renew, the patterns you already received remain commercially licensed; you simply do not receive patterns released after your Update Access expires.

After verified payment and administrator approval, BASIC provides 5 pattern selections and STANDARD provides 30. Open an eligible Pattern Detail page, choose License This Pattern and confirm one selection when you are ready. Confirmed patterns cannot be changed at will.

Unused selections do not expire. We recommend choosing within 6 months of purchase; this is not an expiry deadline. Each additional approved BASIC or STANDARD purchase adds its own selections. My Page shows each purchase separately and the combined remaining total. The oldest eligible purchase is used first. Free Starter patterns and patterns already covered by a valid Grant do not consume another selection.

PRO and MASTER include the full Commercial Pattern Library plus 12 months of new pattern releases, so individual selection is not required.

Access details will be announced at launch. It is not a currently included PRO or MASTER benefit.

A Commercial License is intended for one individual or one business/studio.

Employees or team members may use the licensed patterns when working on behalf of that licensed business.

However, an employee or team member who uses the patterns for their own separate brand, shop, or commercial activity must obtain their own Commercial License.

The license also cannot be shared with another independent studio or business.

No. The restriction applies not only to digital files but also to printed copies when they are provided for another person or business to use independently for commercial purposes.

PDF, SVG, printed copies, or other reproductions of the pattern may not be provided to another studio or business for their own commercial activity.

Yes. A student may sell the finished item they personally made during a class operated by an instructor or studio with a valid Commercial License.

However, the Commercial License itself does not transfer to the student.

If the student wants to continue making additional products from the same PFW pattern for their own ongoing commercial activity, they must obtain their own Commercial License.

Yes. Commercial License holders may use the pattern files and other materials provided by Pattern Factory Wind to create teaching materials for their own permitted classes and workshops.

You may use relevant pattern diagrams, finished product photos, illustrations, instructions, and other provided content when preparing your class materials, and those class materials may be distributed to students participating in your class.

However, the original digital PDF, SVG, or other PFW source files may not be distributed directly to students.

Receiving class materials also does not give students a Commercial License. If a student wants to use the pattern for ongoing independent product sales or other commercial activities, they must obtain their own Commercial License.

Each Starter Kit includes a personalized commercial-use Pattern PDF, 5 Promotional Images, and 1 Showcase Video.

It is provided once as a common guide, not as a separate file for each licensed pattern.

Yes. Your commercial-use Pattern PDFs are personalized licensed copies.

STARTER, BASIC, and STANDARD copies include your verified email and Unique License ID. PRO and MASTER copies use your email or an approved Brand Name, together with your Unique License ID.

Personalization does not permit reselling, sharing, or redistributing the PDF, SVG, or other digital source files.

STARTER is free and includes 3 patterns selected by PFW. BASIC is $79 at the regular price and provides 5 additional paid-pattern selections after verified payment and administrator approval. Choose eligible patterns individually when you are ready; unused selections do not expire. Free Starter rights remain separately licensed and do not use your paid selections.

Both licenses allow handmade product sales and paid classes or workshops. Each licensed pattern includes a personalized commercial-use Pattern PDF, 5 Promotional Images, and 1 Showcase Video. Both also include access to the shared Commercial Guide from My Page.

The difference is 3 free, preselected patterns versus 5 patterns of your choice, not whether commercial use is allowed.

PRO and MASTER Catch-up Renewal continues from your previous Update Access expiration date, rather than starting a new period on the day you renew.

For example, if your access expired in January 2027 and you renew in June 2027, $50 restores access through January 2028 and includes the patterns released during the missed months.

If more than one year has elapsed, renew the required number of annual periods at $50 per year. There is no monthly prorating. Your already received patterns remain commercially licensed even without renewal.

Founding Upgrade Credit — Available Through January 31, 2027

Purchase a Founding License and apply your original purchase amount toward an upgrade to a higher plan through January 31, 2027.

Available to BASIC, STANDARD and PRO licenses purchased from October 16, 2026 at 18:00 KST through October 26, 2026 at 23:59:59.999999 KST, for an upgrade to a higher plan. Email your request by January 31, 2027 at 23:59 KST; new requests close on February 1 at 00:00 KST. We review the original license and actual amount paid before quoting the credit and additional payment. The higher plan price is confirmed in your individual quote; Founding prices are not extended through the request deadline. Credit is an upgrade benefit, not a cash refund. Standard purchases outside this Founding window are not included.

To request an upgrade, email hello@patternfactorywind.com with your License ID and requested higher plan. We will review your purchase and actual payment, provide a personalized quote and arrange the existing manual payment and license review process. This is not an automatic checkout, refund or entitlement change.

MASTER includes everything in PRO plus the PFW Partner Program:

• Pattern PDF Branding Support: adaptation of an existing Brand Mark, or a Simple Watermark-ready Partner Mark if needed, with up to 2 revisions.

Use the advisory within 12 months of your MASTER purchase. It is structured written support; video calls, voice calls, and live chat are not included.

It does not include legal, tax, accounting, business registration, or country-specific licensing or regulatory advice.

Paid Commercial Licensing opened on October 16, 2026 at 18:00 KST. FOUNDING LAUNCH runs from that time through October 26, 2026 at 23:59:59.999999 KST: BASIC $59 (regular $79), STANDARD $249 (regular $329), PRO $649 (regular $799), and MASTER $1,490 with no discount. Regular prices return on October 27 at 00:00 KST.

The free Starter Commercial License remains available after signup and email verification. MASTER partner services, including plaque production and shipping, are coordinated directly by our two operators by email after administrator approval. Plaque shipping is included in the USD 1,490 total; no additional shipping fee is charged after purchase.
